Web3 Hackfest is designed for builders of all kinds where global Web3 builders reunite with a source of energy and creativity for all.

- $20,000 Polkadot Track: projects built on substrate framework (SDK by Polkadot)

- $10,000 Frontend and BOS tools (BOS components and tools, Frontend design on BOS with backend developed on any blockchain (NEAR, EVM,...))
- $5,000 Web2-to-Web3 (promote application ideas to apply blockchain for Web2 niche markets such as education, marketplace, ecommerce, logistic,... and cross-tech (blockchain for AI, IoT, cloud computing, telecom,...))
- $5,000 Multichain and Interdisciplinary solution
- $15,000 Security grant, for top ranked teams in Hackathon ( by QuillAudit)
The event promotes collaboration among multichain ecosystem builders to motivate general ideas and products for Web3 space to solve common issues, create multichain dApps and interoperable solutions.
Dates and Timing
- Registration Period: from July 13th, 2023 to August 20th, 2023 (“Registration Period”).
- Official Hackathon Period: August 7th, 2023 to August 27th, 2023. Source code of projects should be committed and submitted during this time period.
- Submission Deadline: August 21th, 2023 to August 27th, 2023 (“Submission Period”).
- Judging Period: August 27th, 2023 to August 31st, 2023 (“Judging Period”).
- TOP 5 Winners Announcement: On or around September 1st, 2023 (5:00pm WEST).

What to Submit
- Open source code repository. Provide a URL to your open source code repository for judging and testing. Your code must have an open source license like one of the below:

3-Clause BSD - https://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-3-Clause
- Demo Video. Include a video (under 5 minutes) that demonstrates your submission in English. Videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, or Facebook Video and made public.
- Pitch deck file
- Select Prize Tracks. Identify which track your project fits into and if you used and sponsor tools.
Note that prizes will be expected to be sent within 60 days from the announced date
